None are venomous, unless {Heloderma} be an exception. The order includes the chameleons, the {Cionocrania}, or typical lizards, and the amphisb[ae]nas. See {Amphisb[ae]na}, {Gecko}, {Gila monster}, and {Lizard}. [1913 Webster] |
